For the first time this year LG develops awesome Hi-tech Air purifier Mask.
There will be a wearable air purifier in the market, and LG’s Puricare has developed a product. There has been an official announcement by the parent company LG. The product consists of two H13 HEPA filters which are similar to the home purifiers by LG. Also, the air filters can be replaced which are paired with fans powered by batteries that help to breathe. The surprising aspect is that not many companies have attempted to launch a similar product. LG will show it off at the forthcoming IFA press conference to be held in Berlin.
According to LG, the sensors in the device detect when you breath in or breath out, and the speed of the fans is adjusted. The company suggests that the mask was developed as a response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. LG also says that the other low-quality homemade masks and the short in supply disposable masks that a lot of people wear will make way for the Puricare wearable air purifier.
LG first announced the wearable air purifier in the month of July. It is also reported that the company is planning to donate 2000 masks to a university hospital located in Seoul. A representative from LG said they are hoping that the medical staff would be benefited in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. They are hoping that it would make it easier for the medical staff to wear the masks for long hours.
More importantly the press release by LG however has neither made claims about the mask controlling the infections of the coronavirus. Also, it filters air while you inhale and exhale. LG denied commenting about it when asked. However, It said that it will wait till the certification and the completion of testing, only then full details will be given. It is a significant distinction, since the masks not only prevents the person who is wearing from getting infected. It can also protect those around them.
The air purifier consists of motorized fans which requires some power in order to function. The motors are powered by a battery with a capacity of 820mAh. The battery can be used for a duration of 8 hours in low power mode. If it is used in high power mode the usage could be only about 2 hours.
LG has not yet made it clear as to when the masks will be released. They have not revealed the price either, but reports suggest that it will probably available in select market in the fourth quarter of the year.
