For the first time, Ajay Devgn, and Ileana D’Cruz will debut on the world of Digital platform

Can you blame the Bollywood star Ajay Devgn, who wants to be on the OTT platform?

They have helped everyone to tackle the lockdown. This has also exposed us to lots of excellent content that is growing as I pen this down. So much so that remakes are preferred as well and because of more reasons that one. Which is why Bollywood stars like Ajay Devgn has bought the rights of Luther by Idris Elba. The series will be presented with the Indian touch for the viewers of India.

Rumors were ripe about the talks taking place between Ajay Devgn and Disney+ Hotstar but now according to reports the star of Tanhaji will play the lead role of detective John Luther just like Idris Elba for Indian Adaptation Of ‘Luther’?. It will be quite interesting to see Devgn donning the role of the detective in the remake which has high ratings at iMDb. The story revolves around the detective who along with a murderer, a psychopath solves cases in the crime drama. News has also that Ileana D’Cruz will also be part of the ensemble and if everything falls in to place Devgn’s Raid co-star might also be part of the web series.

The team according to sources wanted an actor with powerful screen presence and they felt that Ileana D’Cruz fits the bill. They are already discussing with Ileana D’Cruz about the details. If Ileana signs the contract this will be her debut web series, as she heard the story and quite liked it. Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’Cruz have a great working relationship and looks like she might sign the web series.

While we don’t know much about her casting as of now, nut in all probability Ileana will be seen in the role of Zoe Luther played by Indira Varma. At the moment the modalities are being discussed by Ileana’s team. She will act as the wife of Ajay Devgan in the wen series, added the source.

If everything works out then this will be the third collaboration between Ajay Devgn and Ileana.

She is also being considered to act in Devgn’s next project “The Big Bull” under his banner. Ajay has his hand full with projects like Maidaan, Bhuj: The pride of India, and the remake of the Kaithi. There are some more projects in the pipeline.
