The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) summoned Rhea Chakraborty in Mumbai on Sunday. As soon as she arrived at the office she was mobbed by the media and this did not go well with certain of the Bollywood. Rhea was being grilled in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case and her alleged connection in drugs.
Pictures of the actress have been making rounds all over the internet where the Mumbai police is seen escorting the actress who is struggling to go past the swarm of the mics and cameras. This is just one more example of the media, harassing Rhea Chakraborty at any available chance.
The police however are seen escorting Rhea Chakraborty to the office of the NCB, but the photos and videos that are going viral show a different picture altogether. It is clearly seen that the actress was being jostled and pushed by the mob.

All the news channel covering the case are making it evident that they wanted a glimpse of the actress as she arrived, forcing themselves close to her so much so that all them are invading her space as a woman, basic respect and her right to the social distancing.
The probe if the death case is being investigated by Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) and the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB).
Rhea is still to be proven guilty but what the media did was not acceptable considering the times are challenging when it is imperative to maintain safety and none of them even thought of maintaining the social distancing putting everyone around them in danger. This is not the only instance that the media has shown its inhuman side.

Several celebrities took to twitter for showing their disappointment of the disorderly conduct by the media. They have called it negligent and caused the actress a lot of distress even before she is proven guilty by the judiciary.
According to reports NCB has taken Showick Chakraborty (Rhea’s younger brother), Samuel Miranda (house manager of Sushant Singh Rajput) and Dipesh Sawant (SSR staff).
Sushant Singh Rajput death case has gained a lot of publicity. Over the past months the media, the agencies and also the people have been investigating every aspect of the case, and have not cared about Rhea Chakraborty’s privacy. It is worth taking note that the actress has been attending all the summons and the verdict of the case is not out yet. The media is acting as the jury, judge and the executioner of the case.
