In the coming months Apple will announce its 2020 range of phones, and while the excitement is huge for the new series of iPhone 12, there also is some not so good news regarding the existing models. After the launch of the iPhone 12 people might think they can buy these existing phones for a cheaper price, but they are in for a rude shock.
As per the tweet by the iAppleTimes Apple will stop the manufacture of the iPhone XR and all the models of iPhone 11 pro as soon as the announcement of the new iPhones is made.
This tweet says that the existing series of iPhones will be discontinued and some important information is left out. Considering the fact that Apple has been doing this before, its no new thing.
In addition, it would mean the end of the production if the iPhone XR and iPhone 11 pro range will be discontinued. The worldwide sales of the phones will still take place, but it will depend on the earlier inventory is available. Apple has decided to even honor the warranty of the devices and also offer support for any claims that are out of warranty. This will be done for some more years.

However, the iAppleTimes report is a bitter pill to swallow as the twitter account has never managed to get the facts right as far as the Apple launches are concerned. Also, stopping the production of the iPhone11 is not a good thing at the moment as it has been one of the successful models from Apple.
In India Foxconn which is the manufacturer on contract for Apple. And reports suggest that it’s just been little over a month since Foxconn has begun to manufacture the iPhone 11 in the subcontinent. This move does not make any sense if Apple phases the phone.
In 2020, rumors suggest that Apple will launch 4 models of iPhone 12 series, two models will carry the “Pro” name and the other two will be non-Pro. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic there the iPhone 12 might experience some delays. This pandemic had also stopped the 5G modem testing as well.

Apple will still probably host an event in the month of September, and there are rumors, that the company will launch the new Apple Watch Series 6 along with a new iPad.
